Originally conceived in 1930 as a complement to the Barcelona collection, this couch design by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is proof positive that truly great home fashions always stand the test of time. The classic piece is handcrafted from top to bottom just as it was over 80 years ago, boasting a cowhide surface of 72 individual squares welted together, button-tufted, and anchored to the wooden platform using simple lock snaps.
