Quiet yet expressive. The Eave 3-Seater Sofa Combination from Audo Copenhagen, formerly known as Menu, is a Scandinavian-style, contemporary seating solution. It engages the senses with a lovely set of curves whose depth recalls the jutting eave of a roof. The sofa’s architectural inspiration is fitting for the multi-faceted designers of Norm Architects. The studio uses a ‘soft minimalism’ approach that makes it so that each piece leaves nothing to add or subtract. This piece does so with an engineered wood geometric framework. The position of the seat and backrest gives the user a stately posture with a slight lean. The body leans into the curving back and armrests, whose depth evokes the hanging character of an architectural eave. High resilient foam pairs with fine upholstery to fill out the sofa’s ample comfort.
