Designed in 1954 by Frits Henningsen, the Carl Hansen FH429 Signature Chair has a sleek yet organic look. It features a tall, curving seat made out of supple leather upholstery set within a willowy frame evocative of curling vines or tree roots. The frame may be delicate-looking but, considering it's made out of solid wood, is actually exceptionally strong.
