The Carl Hansen OW149 Colonial Chair is designer Ole Wanscher's most recognizable piece, and proves that fine craftsmanship never goes out of style. Designed by Wanscher in 1949, OW149 is inspired by 17th century English furniture. The solid wood frame is slim and curvy, which belies the chair's strength and stability. The distinctive arms curve upward to an elegant point and then straight down to join the rest of the frame.

Lighting, Lived With

Real homes, considered spaces, and the quiet glow our customers live with every day.

This lamp turned an overlooked corner into a real focal point. Beautiful during the day and softly glowing at night.

— Sophia R., Austin

This chandelier looks stunning when lit. The glass drops sparkle beautifully and make this little corner feel so much more elegant.

— Daniel K., Chicago

I loved this lamp so much I had to take a photo with it. It feels artistic, warm, and makes the whole room look special.

— Maya L., Vancouver

These wood pendants made our dining nook feel so warm and cozy. I love the soft glow and the natural shape.
