Designed in 1945 by Vilhelm Lauritzen, the VLA76 Upholstered Foyer Lounge Chair from Carl Hansen makes it easy to relax and maybe enjoy some tunes as a piece originally made for the broadcast building Radiohuset in Copenhagen. An influential figure in Danish modernism, Vilhelm Lauritzen trailblazed a form-follows-function approach that put usability above all. This chair's minimal decoration underscores its enduring aesthetic. Its legs and armrests connect as an oak wood construction that's hand-polished for a pure, fluid look. The oak wood's beautiful grain texture and open quality accentuate the fine upholstery inside. The cushioned upholstery leans one back with plenty of space to get cozy. Its button tufts add a final charming, timeless accent.

This chandelier looks stunning when lit. The glass drops sparkle beautifully and make this little corner feel so much more elegant.

These wood pendants made our dining nook feel so warm and cozy. I love the soft glow and the natural shape.
